With changing infrastructure, a new county ordinance, a shelter temporally closing, and the cost of housing sky rocketing, Wilmington has entered a state of crisis. Homelessness takes on many different appearances in our city. We have families living in motels due to poor housing conditions, people on the streets being criminalized downtown, and overflowing shelters. What is causing these massive problems? What can be done about it? How can followers of Jesus show up for our neighbors experiencing homelessness? Join us for what is sure to be a robust discussion. Together we will learn from a variety of community members who are on the front lines of this important work.
